Therapeutic Massage
By working on the soft tissues, this massage can stimulate the muscular and nervous systems and improve the blood circulation and lymphatic flow. This enables fresh oxygenated blood to repair the body tissues and metabolic waste products and toxins to be eliminated. This in turn allows the body to function more efficiently and counteracts the debilitating effects of stressful modern-day living. In addition, it has a profoundly calming effect on the neuromuscular system bringing about a deep relaxation and restoring energy.

Sports Massage Therapy is a deeper form of soft tissue massage which uses specific techniques to treat physically active individuals, who may be more vulnerable to injury because of the stresses placed on the body by their sport. It is particularly effective in the treating minor soft tissue problems, relieving niggling aches and pains before they develop into more serious overuse injuries. It is also great in the pre-event situation, whether your needs are for relaxation or stimulation, and in post-event relaxation and recovery. Finally, it is good for the general relief of stress and tension and for fatigue, whether this is occupational, recreational, or sporting.

Specially adapted Reflexology treatments for those clients effected by cancer. The intention is to sooth, relax and improve wellbeing. Reflexology counterbalances the effects of stress and encourages deeper and easier breathing. It has also been known to improve joint flexibility and circulation, help boost the immune system by calming adrenals and releasing endorphins and in turn induces better sleep patterns. It can also relax muscles and nerve fibres which can also ease pain. The focus is not only on helping with any symptoms but also providing special “me time”.

Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary health therapy that can be effective in promoting deep relaxation and wellbeing; reducing stress in people's lives can be key in optimising good health and building resilience. Based on the principles that the organs and structures of our bodies are mirrored on our feet and hands. By applying thumb and finger pressure to specific reflex points this stimulates and works the corresponding organs and systems of the body, clearing any congestion. Tensions are eased, circulation and toxin elimination improved.

An award-winning reflexology technique which focuses on stimulating the lymphatic reflexes on the feet. The aim is to cause an effect on the lymphatic system in the body. It is a unique sequence that has been researched and developed by Sally Kay, whilst working in Cancer Care. The results appear to support the theory of reflexology.
Results from recent research have shown that RLD may be helpful in the management of secondary lymphoedema following treatment for breast cancer.
Clinical experience and further evidence from a growing body of case studies suggests that RLD can also be useful with many other conditions including: Arthritis, Digestive issues, Asthma, Eczema, ME, auto-immune disorders, sinus problems, migraines & headaches, muscular tension and premenstrual syndrome.
